A secondary look at an elementary problem.
Education Management Systems, Inc. (EMS) is a company that has a tremendous base of installed usesers, yet many of them would say that they've never even heard the name. EMS produces systems software for the K-12 education system and their software has been helping our schools run smoothly for many years.
They command a large share of the market and continue to expand both their scope and their services.
So what's the problem?
As mentioned earlier, they suffered from an image problem. EMS's products were great, but their brand was buried under its functionality. So as competition increased, having a weak brand image began to erode their perceived value.
What we needed to do was to unify a system of services under a recognizable umbrella and smartly explain their interconnectedness.
Explain it in a way that I can understand!
We determined that their most prolific and widely used product, ISIS, should be EMS's beacon.
A comprehensive brand overhaul was performed which even extended into EMS's corporate workflow. All of EMS's disparate services were combined into a coded family under the ISIS moniker. So that in the end, through a well equipped sales force, the ISIS brand transformed from the workhorse everyone knew and loved into a contemporary and easily understood suite of products with a much greater perceived value.
ISIS
- Brand Reinvention
- Software Skinning
- Collateral
- Website
- Tradeshow Environments
- To reinvent the EMS brand and to promote the unique advantages the ISIS products have over their competition while making their complex abilities easily understood.
- At various times during this effort our work was put on hold because as elements of the rebrand would hit the market, EMS would experience a spike in demand which would require them to shift their resources to fulfillment.
